New Beginnings

In the beginning God.
It all started with Him, it all happened through Him and it's all about Him! Many people try different measures all in an attempt to have a 'fresh start'. Some move countries, some move houses, some read books and some make changes to their lifestyle. Some make up their own idea of when life begins and even go as far as to say that life begins at 40....which is not true, as life begins with God!
The reality is, life can only begin with the Source of life, which is Jesus. People want to live and have good lives, but not everyone knows that, without the Source, there can be no life.  Jesus said, He is the way, He is the truth and He is the life.
He is all that we need and more. We are born as sinners, but through Jesus we are able to be born again; re born to become His very own children. The world has it's own ideas about what life is about, and about what is acceptable, whereas the Author of life, has plainly written to us, the standard of life, wh…

Hair Update

I'm still on my road of looking after my own hair, without any add ons or ins and so far so great! When I have had a chance to, I have played around with a few styles. For this hair style, I put my hair in two plaits for a day and a half and then, combed it out to get this volume...same as I did in my other post on forgiveness.... (Check it out here...)
#TeamOwnHair Thank you to all those that have encouraged me on this lovely journey so far. It's actually exciting.

Think Big Youth

Last week I was invited to speak at an employment seminar for young people, which was being held by Think Big Youth. Check them out and support.
It was a pleasure to meet the other speakers, network and generally share with the young people; the tips necessary for deciding what to wear to an interview. We had a great evening! A massive well done to the Think Big team and thank you for the opportunity.
(Outfit of that day...hehe)
Corporate doesn't mean boring....go beyond the 'norm' and be memorable.

Unforgiveness Vs Forgiveness

To forgive or not to forgive?’…. now THAT is the question!!
I know I’m not the only person who has considered this question, time and time again, after different incidents. Walking with Jesus Christ is so sobering and real, as there is ALWAYS so much more to learn and know about Him and His heart for us and things that do affect us. One of these things is within the area of forgiveness.
Forgiveness can sometimes be shunned off as something negative and can be spoken of as a form of weakness. I remember before I was taught in this area, unknowingly holding a lot unforgiveness for people that had wounded me in my life. Some people I was convinced that they deliberately wanted to hurt me, whereas others, I just didn’t even want to think about what it is they had said/done to me.
I just want to shed some light on what forgiveness actually is and how important it is for EVERY single one of us. All of us at one time would have been either let down and/or hurt by others. The memory itself …
