Tweed Pencil Skirt

Just about tweed anything catches my eye! From granddad hats to blazers and pretty pencil skirts, like this one. I find such skirts so flattering for a number of body shapes. Tweed is really thick and so in the Spring I pair it with light weight tops like this, as it keeps me cool overall.

This bat style top is actually a long top which I casually wear with jeans but when I want to dress it up, I then tuck it into midi skirts.

I picked up this classic vintage skirt from a charity store for £3! There is one particular charity store that I visit in London that tends to have skirts for £3 (I also picked up this purple midi one from there too).

My favourite feature of this skirt has to be the back section, because where many modern day skirts has a split, this skirt doesn't! I have no idea what the right terminology for the covered split is called but it is great! I have easy movement without a giant split so I can walk free, not wondering if people behind me can see more than they should! I have designed a white lace dress with the same split and moving forward will do the same again.

Differently the way forward for me as I am not a fan or lady who likes to expose my thighs like that. No thank you. #TeamDiscreation

Currently I am really enjoying rose gold at present. It's a lovely accent colour for looks and works really well with pastel colours, including dusty pink or other nude tones. I find it not to be as harsh as some gold tones so in terms of footwear and the likes it is fab! Saw a lady with a biker look and midi pink skirt and she looked so elegant and cute I had to share the style look with you GEMS! I hope the weather gets brighter and hotter in London then I can finally swap my clothes over and get my pretty dresses out.

Worried, anxious or concerned about anything? Including what you are going to wear to this place or that place? Read this:

“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to Him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? “And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, He will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need. “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today." ~ Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭25-34‬

Peace, love and joy be multiplied to you all. Do not worry for it is well with Him. Trust Him for He knows and has a word to deliver you and help you be right, stay right and blossom.

With love and style,
Nash Amber
